July is a big month for us here in the best country in the world. July marks the 250th Anniversary of us telling England to kick rocks. It’s amazing to think what the colonists achieved. The people of America wanted freedom so badly that they put everything on the line. Fortunes, property and lives were all lost, to “form a more perfect union”. We defeated the most formidable army in the world so that we could represent ourselves. The Founding Fathers were living a nightmare and came up with the blue print to keep future generations from suffering like they were and to create “A Republic If You Can Keep It”. We’ve been basking in that freedom for 250 years now. No lie, some of our freedoms are eroding and it’s our turn to be vigilant and ensure that our kids and their kids get to keep their freedom.
Make sure that you take some time on July 4th, Independence Day, and celebrate that freedom. Ride your motorcycle, celebrate with your friends and family. It’s more than just a day to grill out, it’s about living in the greatest country in the world. Enjoy that feeling and don’t let anyone take it away from you!
God Bless The USA.
Pictured on this month’s cover are Dog House Harley-Davidson’s General Manager Justin Matis, General Sales Manager Jay Reeves, and myself, Marlee Vilchis, Marketing Director, alongside two custom-painted, limited-edition 2026 Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles - both currently available for sale.
The beautiful paint scheme dubbed “Memorial Fade” by our Dog House Team, was an idea born from Justin’s vision and brought to life by Chad Hampton of Hampton’s Designs. A passionate supporter of Harley-Davidson Factory Racing, Justin had envisioned a design that paid tribute to both the racing culture of the Motor Company and our Great Nation’s 250th Birthday. This boldly blended vision captures both inspirations while also acknowledging Harley-Davidosn’s own recent paint releases, The 2026 Liberty Edition Enthusiast Collection, celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The result… a gorgeous pair of motorcycles that honor history while looking boldly to the future.
At Dog House Harley-Davidson, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. We respect the heritage of the Harley-Davidson brand, but we also believe in standing apart from the crowd and creating something uniquely our own. These motorcycles are a reflection of that philosophy!
If you’re ever in the Rock Hill, South Carolina area, ride on over - It’s Worth a Trip to The Dog House!
